I grew up in small-town Vermont, running on dirt roads, and hiking through autumn foliage. I've been telling stories as long as I can remember, even in my own version of sign language before I could talk. In college, I learned to write in a language slightly different from what I was used to. That is to say, I fell in love with computer science and what it means to write creatively in code. Now I write in all different languages. I write to extract the meaning in millions of data points, to develop agents and images that model the world around us, and of course, to tell stories. Whatever the end product, I focus on work that other people will touch and feel.
